MAD//Fest London is the new disruptive force of marketing, advertising and tech events with 4500 brand, agency and media leaders.
Hosted this year at The Trumen Brewery in Brick Lane, we joined 1000s of brands at MAD//Fest 2019 to tackle the theme, Dare to be Different.
We demonstrated our scribing services, digitally live drawing the key note speeches and talks from the Engagement & Experience stage, whist creating a live mural in the main space that encapsulated the event.
For the mural, artist Karen created an overview of the four event stages, highlighting many of the key partners and exciting talks and events that took place over the two days.
Whilst for the digital scribes artist Annie created a series of live visual notes on an ipad at the side of the stage, cleverly honing in on the key areas as they were discussed.
We captured 14 talks over the two days with words of wisdom from Founder Justine Roberts at Mumsnet, Customer Marketing Director Hannah Squirrell at Greggs and Co-Founder Shamil Thakrar at Dishoom – just to name a few!
A personal highlight was witnessing our very own Chris Page (owner of Three Blind Mice) discussing ‘The Art of Communicating Ideas’ on stage with Director of Sales and all-round business guru Dan Dackombe. For obvious reasons its a topic that we feel very passionate about and to hear Dan and Chris discuss how we communicate is not just crucial for pitches but for any successful business practice was really insightful.
It was an absolute pleasure to be a part of such a varied and inspiring event where we were given the opportunity to listen and learn alongside some of the best media leaders worldwide.
